Overview

The IBM x3350 (Type 4192,4193) is a high performance 1U rack server. The motherboard has one CPU socket that can support dual core and quad core Xeon processors up to 3.0Ghz.

(4) memory slots accommodate up to 8GB of PC2-5300 Unbuffered / Unregistered memory.
[Note: A 64-Bit OS or an OS with PAE support must be used to access RAM above the 4GB Barrier.)

The x3350 supports either (4) internal 2.5" SAS / SATA disk modules or (2) large form factor (LFF) hot swap SAS / SATA disk modules using either the "Simple Swap" or "Hot Swap" tray.
Redundancy is achieved via the integrated RAID 1 controller.
