Cheetah drives are offered in U320 (Parallel SCSI), Fibre Channel, and SAS (Serial SCSI) interfaces. Cheetah drives typically have small capacities than drives in the Barracuda families, but can be 2-3 times faster and last much longer in I\/O intensive environments. <\/p>\n<p>Barracuda and Constellation drives usually spin at 7200 RPM and offer higher capacities than Cheetah products. Barracuda drives usually have SATA interfaces, but SAS and FC versions exist as well.
