The older EVA 3000 \/ 5000, 4000 \/ 4100\/, 6000\/6100, and 8000\/8100 accept disk drives in &#8220;universal&#8221; carriers while the newer EVAs (4400,6400, and 8400) accept drives in plastic slim-line carriers.
