The DCS3700 Gen2 and DCS3860 features the latest technologies, including 12 Gbps SAS and 16 Gbps Fibre Channel host interfaces, along with 6 and 12 Gbps SAS drives. The DCS also features a 10 Gbps iSCSI host interface with an optional Performance Modules system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DCS3700 \/ EXP5060 \/ DCS3860 \/ EXP3800 supported drives include:<\/strong><br \/>\n2TB, 3TB, 4TB, 6TB, 8TB 7200rpm 6Gb and 12Gb NL-SAS 3.5 inch HDD<br \/>\n300GB 15K rpm, 600GB, 900GB, 1.2TB 10K rpm, 6Gb and 12Gb SAS 2.5 inch HDD<br \/>\n 400GB, 800GB, 1.6TB SAS 2.5 inch<br \/>\n SSD<\/p>\n<p>Enabling T10 PI funtionality between the storage controller and disk drives helps to ensure data integrity at the drive level. T10 PI requires the use of PI capable 520 Bytes per Sector formatted disk drives.
