This 2Gbps, hot-swappable, Fibre Channel (FC) Disk Drive OPTION 06P5761 increases the storage capacity of IBM TotalStorage DS4000 Series (FAStT) Storage Servers.  The EXP700 expansion unit supports this 36.4 GB 10,000 rpm slim-profile, dual-loop, hot-swappable disk drive at the 2GBps Fiber Channel speed. The IBM TotalStorage FAStT EXP700 storage expansion unit expands the highly scalable, high-performance FAStT family with a 14-bay, 2GBps, rack-mountable Fiber Channel hard disk drive enclosure. Used with the FAStT700, FAStT500, and FAStT200 storage servers, the EXP700 is designed to provide incremental support for over one terabyte of disk storage per unit. When used with the FAStT700 storage server, it provides a full end-to-end 2GBps Fiber Channel storage solution, extending the FAStT family with the latest Fiber Channel technology. This module can also be used with the FAStT EXP500 storage expansion unit (3560-1RU/1RX), and with the FAStT200 storage server (3542) operating at 1Gb.
