Description
This IBM System Storage 1TB 7.2Krpm 6Gb SAS NL 2.5 inch SFF HDD FRU / CRU 81Y9875 requires an available disk drive bay in an IBM DS3524 or EXP3524 expansion unit. IBM best practices for this 81Y9875 Hard Disk Drive require a minimum Model Type 1746 firmware revision of 07.70.16.01 and a minimum EXP3500 ESM firmware revision of 3.16. IBM Storage Manager v10.86 or greater, inconjuntion with Controller FW v7.86, is required to enable the HDD capable T10 PI funtionality.
