This IBM System Storage / NetApp SPARE SP-290A-R5 600GB 15K SAS 3.5 inch HDD requires an available disk drive bay in an IBM Machine Type 2859-XXX, 2862-xxx, N3300, N3400, N3600, or NetApp FAS20xx System. The SP-290A-R5 Hard Disk Drive module is hot-swappable and can be used as a spare to replace a failed/failing drive or to expand your IBM System Storage N Series or NetApp FAS20xx System capacity. Disk drives installed within these Systems must be of the same type interface, capacity, and speed.
